Its Grade II listed status presented the Avon Homes team with a unique opportunity to restore the property's stunning architectural beauty and heritage to its full glory with the revival of the tired interior, creating new functionality, updating to the latest home technology and infusing the property with light and space.
For Avon Homes, close involvement with the client through the planning and architectural stages were key to the success of this project, enabling us to respect and enhance the historic character of the property and local vernacular, whilst also introducing elements of contemporary living through the addition of new build elements including a connected orangery and garaging, safeguarding the building's long term sustainability as a family dwelling.
