Located on the outskirts of historic Knowle, in the West Midlands, this detached new-build project sought to replace a garage sited between two residential properties with a new, five-bedroom family home, designed to respect and reflect the character of the local area.
The new property balances the needs of contemporary family living and modern architectural design with respect to the mature, residential neighbourhood. A stunning LEICHT kitchen was created to the rear of the property with large, bi fold doors opening into the garden, while a smart lighting system by Gira and a Heatmiser™ smartphone-operated energy control system, provided the client with intelligent and sustainable home comfort and management solutions. Handmade, built-in wardrobes added a luxurious finishing touch.
